Join ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Presents, Town Hall Seattle, and City Lights to celebrate Sonali Kolhatkar’s newest book, . In Rising Up, Sonali shows readers how to do what she and her colleagues at ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ do every day—elevate truthful, impactful narratives by, about, and for people of color to advance racial justice, illuminate real-world solutions to systemic issues, and build a more equitable, sustainable, and compassionate world.
Author, award-winning multimedia journalist, host of Rising Up with Sonali, and ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Racial Justice Editor Sonali Kolhatkar will be live in conversation with ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Editorial Director Sunnivie Brydum for one night only at Town Hall Seattle on Sept. 6, 2023.

The program begins at 7:30 p.m. PT, and will be immediately followed by a free reception where you’ll have a chance to meet Sonali, Sunnivie, and other ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ staff, pick up a free edition of ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Magazine, and get your own copy of Rising Up. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
